Workplace Safety
Your safety is our priority. Be responsible while working at the venue. Know your surroundings at all times and always use caution when using tools or operating any type of machinery. Safety Briefings and Seminars will occur regularly before the event. Ask your supervisor for a schedule, and attend all meetings you are asked to attend. Please review the Medical Resources Guide below if you or a co-worker need medical assistance.
Protective Gear
Dressing properly is extremely important to preventing cold stress. When cold environments or temperatures cannot be avoided, the following would help protect workers from cold stress. Wear at least three layers of loose fitting clothing. Layering provides better insulation. Water resistant coat/jacket, insulated waterproof boots, gloves, hat and face mask are recommend. Carry spare shirts to replace wet or sweaty shirts as needed to stay dry and warm. When operation in contraction zones we are require to meet all OSHA regulations in regards to PPE.
Hydration
Drink plenty of water throughout the day and take appropriate breaks to rejuvenate your body with well-balanced meals that will be provided to you. Minimize your intake of energy drinks, colas, coffees and all other high caffeinated beverages.
Accidents and Incident Reports
All work-related accidents and/or illnesses must be reported to your supervisor as well as X Games Safety Director Ray Boehm immediately. You will likely need to check-in with Safety to complete an incident report. The X Games incident report can be found here.

All work-related accidents, incident and/or illnesses must be reported to your supervisor as well as X Games Live Events Department immediately. You will likely need to check-in with Event Safety and/or Security to complete an incident report. The X Games incident report can be found here.
This Incident Report should be completed for any incidents, property losses or accidents that involves vendors, staff, spectators, participants or volunteers. Please, fill out the form out with as much detail as possible as soon as possible after the event has occurred.
